I'm not a particularly materialistic person, but I'll freely admit to a couple of weak spots. One is that I love expensive watches with all sorts of bells and whistles. The second is that I love toys- and I'm not talking about GI Joes. No, I'm talking about gadgets, electronica, and/or just about anything high-tech. I don't often indulge myself, because there usually is something else I and can better and more effectively spend my money on. Every now and then, though....
I've been wanting an iPhone for quite some time, and now that I've finally indulged myself...man, this thing is phenomenal. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. The beautiful thing is that it's deceptively simple. Even my inner history major is figuring things out pretty quickly...and before long, I'll no doubt be wondering how I ever got by without it.
Damn, but I do love my toys.... ;-)
