Vincent Bugliosi is a respected former prosecutor who convicted Charles Manson in 1971. His newest bestselling book is "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder," making the case that Bush should be held "criminally responsible" for the deaths of U.S. soldiers in Iraq. The media, however, have responded with a virtual blackout.
Interesting, isn't it? You write a book making the argument that Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © should be prosecuted for murder...and you're roundly ignored by virtually every media outlet.
OK, y'all...repeat after me: WHAT LIBERAL MEDIA??
Nice to know that all viewpoints are given equal weight by the Mainstream Media, isn't it? Whether or not you happen to believe Bugliosi's argument, the man did receive a boatload of attention when he wrote a book about JFK...so why are things different now? Well, when you're trampling sacred cows of the rich and the powerful....
When Bugliosi can't even get a nibble from "The Daily Show" or "The Colbert Report", it's not difficult to begin thinking that there are people out there who terrified enough of the truth to engage in what can only fairly be described censorship.
Oh...and that "whooshing" sound you just heard? That was freedom of speech and expression as it flew by on the expressway to oblivion. Damn that Liberal Media....
