It's not easy being anonymous and irrelevant, but I do what I can

Congratulations to John Aravosis and AMERICAblog. Yes, they made the list...and WWJD didn't. Well, I might have made it...if they tacked three or four more zeroes onto the number of blogss they recognized. Yeah, they don't come more undiscovered than this, eh? When I shuttered The People's Republic of Seabrook after I moved to Oregon from Texas, I lost a lot of traffic. After seven years, this is almost like starting over. Of course, it's never been about the numbers, although I would freely admit that I'm like anyone else in that it means something to know that people are reading. It's not nearly as satisfying writing in a vacuum, but I control what I can...and the audience will either come or it won't. At the moment, it's not, but outside of spending a lot of money on advertising, there's not much I can do except to keep doing what I am. And so I shall.

(Knock, knock)

Hello?? Anybody out there??? Anyone?

Yeah, well...if you need me, I'll be playing Russian Roulette on the kitchen floor...
