Thank Goodness that there are few problems that watching Texas-Texas A&M on Thanksgiving can't cure....
OK, so I'll admit to not being the most objective of observers when it comes to college football. I'm a huge Texas Longhorns fan, and I've always had a soft spot for Austin. After watching the 'Horns dismantle Texas A&M 49-9 yesterday, can there legitimately be any doubt as to which of the Big 12's "big three" (Texas, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma) belong in the Big 12 Championship Game?
Yes, this is the sort of pointless debate with no winning argument . Texas lost to Texas Tech 39-33 on a last second touchdown in Lubbock. Oklahoma decimated Texas Tech 65-15 in Norman. Texas beat Oklahoma 45-35 in Dallas. Arguing about this is the equivalent of watching a dog chasing it's tail, but to me it seems pretty clear. Look at all three games, and it seems clear that Texas should be considered top dog. 'Course, if you live in Norman or Lubbock, you'll no doubt disagree with my premise, but that's the beauty of the clusterf--k that is the BCS. Why settle things on the field when you can booger things up in smoke-filled board rooms?
Morons....
