Which is worse? Being pro-Islam or pro-sadomasochism? Well Mattel -- the maker of Barbie and Hot Wheels -- is being indirectly accused of being pro-Islamic by OneNewsNow and Olive Tree Ministries, and being accused of being by the Concerned Women For America (CWA) of foisting exploitation of women with the new the Black Canary Barbie -- "otherwise known as 'Dominatrix Barbie.'"
You've got to know that you have WAY too much time on your hands when you can worry about crap like this. Some parents have apparently got their panties all in a wad because the Little Mommy Cuddle 'n Coo utters something garbled that sounds suspiciously like "Islam is the Light". This, of course, ranks right up their with being able to play an LP backwards and hear "Paul is dead". If you're so inclined, you can probably hear whatever inflammatory utterances will get you your 15 minutes of infamy.
Being the investigative sort that I am, I procured one of the dolls, and I've conducted many long hours of research. After listening closely and repeatedly, what I hear is not "Islam is the Light", but "Is Barack Obama really White?" Or perhaps it was "Is this bong in need of a light"? Either way, all you good God-fearing White Folk can rest easy. Your children are safe from the scourge of America-hating capitalists bent on turning America's progeny into radical, Islamofascist nutjobs bent on blowing up malls and churches. This time, at least.
