Imagine my surprise when I got a text message yesterday afternoon that it was snowing in Houston. Yes, it was colder there than it was here in Portland...and it wasn't exactly balmy here. In fact, the forecast for this weekend calls for the possibility of snow here as well, and the overnight low Friday and into Saturday may get down to 15. OK, so if you live in Buffalo, Fargo, or International Falls, 15 degrees may not seem like anything but a heat wave, but for Portland it's COLD. To make matters worse, when it gets cold here, the humidity goes WAY up, which makes for some brutal, bone-chilling cold.
Man, I may even have to turn my heat on this weekend. Damn....
