An ode to The Dumbest (&^%$#@ Human Being on the Face of the Planet ©

The 9-12 project is not for families directly affected by 9/11, just people building their careers on it.

  • Stephen Colbert

It would difficult to overstate the enmity I feel for Glenn Beck. Normally, I prefer to at least meet a person prior to taking an active dislike to them. In the case of The Dumbest (&^%$#@ Human Being on the Face of the Planet ©, though, I'm willing to deviate from the norm. I mean, how could you not? The man is the closest thing to a lucid idiot this side of...well, Bill O'Reilly. When your schtick consists primarily of spreading fear and disinformation based largest on "facts" that you make up as you go, you deserve to be ridiculed. Then again, when you're Rupert Murdoch's favorite "butt boy" (apologies to Al Franken), you probably don't have any reason to care what reasonable, lucid bipeds think of you, eh?

Oh, and if things weren't bad enough, Beck is now also directing anti-gay slurs at Rep. Barney Frank (R-MA). So, hatred, bigotry, and a rampant disregard for the facts is what you need to land on Rupert Murdoch's "A" list? And should this really be taken for anything but what it is- propaganda for propaganda's sake? Not that Fox Noise Channel has ever suffered from an overabundance of truth and reason, but the over-the-top douchebaggery represent by The Dumbest (&^%$#@ Human Being on the Face of the Planet © is an insult to decency and integrity.

The saddest thing is that, in a country that cherishes freedom of speech and expression, there are those who will openly exploit fear, ignorance, and reaction for their own material benefit. Yes, I understand that free speech can be and often is offensive and ignorant speech. It's just pitiful that there are people like The Dumbest (&^%$#@ Human Being on the Face of the Planet © who've built their careers on openly and aggressively exploiting fear, ignorance, and reaction. Then again, for so many of the American Sheeple, reacting beats the heck out of thinking and sober reflection, no?

I can only hope that there's a parking space in Hell with Glenn Beck's name on it.

Somewhere, Josef Goebbels is snickering in his beer....
