Today's signs that the Apocalypse is upon us

....Why take responsibility for this nation's economic problems when you can blame them on "abortion, pornography, same sex marriage, sex trafficking, divorce, illegitimate births, child abuse ,and many other forms of debauchery"? Yes, 'tis better to be thought a bigot and a fool than to be Sally Kern and remove all doubt.

....Anyone care to explain to me how and why "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" does anything except confirm that an entire class of Americans deserve to be treated as second-class citizens...even if they're willing to defend the same country that oppresses them? Aren't we better than that?

....Mark Sanford is a bad- and apparently VERY horny- man. Anyone else get the feeling that this is not going to end well?

....So you think it's easy being Caribou Barbie? How so much ignorance, intolerance, and overly simplistic lunacy can come in such a pretty package is something I find difficult to imagine.

....Michele Bachmann may be something far worse than a reality-deficient blithering idiot. She may also be doing irreparable harm to her home state of Minnesota. Then again, people really do get the quality of representation they deserve, eh?

....Joe the Plumber is the worst person in the world? Oddly enough, it does seem to be a fitting appellation for such a (&^%$#@ maroon.

....Well, it only took awhile, but it appears that Al Franken, at least according to the Minnesota Supreme Court, should be Minnesota's junior senator. Finally, Norm Coleman wakes up, smells the cat litter...and concedes. May he rot in Hell for holding the state he professes to love hostage for almost eight months.

....Hmm...you say "naked flight attendants" like it's a bad thing....

....Defense Secretary Robert Gates is reportedly considering instituting a "more humane" version of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"...as if "lesser" degrees of discrimination are any less abhorrent.

....So when does a "fair and balanced" provider of news devolve into just another Right-wing propaganda and talking points factory? How about when you're Fox News Channel?....
