Today's signs that the Apocalypse is upon us

....So much for the separation of Church and State: Texas Governor Rick Perry has just appointed a creationist to the State Board of Edumication. Of course, this makes perfect sense- IF the name of the board was the State Board of Christian Indoctrination.

....Having apparently solved all the pressing problems facing this great nation, we're now free to discuss the REALLY important stuff...like Hillary Clinton's hair. 'Do tell....

....Being a Republican means that it's not about doing what's best for this country. No, it's about doing what's best for you and your party's political prospects.

....Max Baucus: the best Senator the health care industry can buy.

....Another out of control brawl in the South Korean Parliament. I'm guessing that Republicans aren't the majority party over there, eh? Nah, these idjits are probably Democrats- undisciplined, self-absorbed, and devoid of anything resembling party discipline.

....Bobby Jindal: proof that Republicans really do talk (and write checks) out of both sides of their mouth.

....DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?? Why yes, you're Martha (&^%$#@ McCallum? What's your point?

....Mormons continue to baptize Jewish Holocaust victims. Don't these fools have anything better to do with their time?

....The latest Republican strategy: if you don't like a policy initiative, just equate it with Nazism. Invoking Godwin's Law in 4...3...2....

....What the (&^% is Paula Abdul talking about? Damned if I know.... I was hoping you might be able to clue me in.
