I've no idea where I was yesterday afternoon, but it couldn't possibly have been at an energetic, 3000-person strong pro-healthcare reform rally in Westlake Park, because I couldn't find even the tiniest mention of it in this morning's Seattle Times, so apparently, it never happened. And I have absolutely no idea where all those photos and videos on my camera came from. It's like my own personal Twilight Zone.
If all you did was listen to the jackasses screaming about "Socialism" and "Nazism" at last month's town halls, you'd think that this entire nations was unalterably opposed to anything resembling health care reform.
KEEP GOVERNMENT OUT OF HEALTH CARE...AND KEEP GOVERNMENT AWAY FROM MY MEDICARE!!
Somehow 3000 people managed to get together in Seattle and rally FOR health care reform...and yet it's as if it never happened. If you were looking for reporting on it in the local or national media, you would have come up empty. Get one of two screaming wingnuts ranting about ObamaCare and Nazism, and it's all over the Mainstream Media. Hold a large, albeit peaceful rally demanding health care reform...and it's as if it happened in a vacuum. If you were there, and you have pictures, you might want to hang onto them...because you're in possession of the only tangible proof that the rally even really happened.
Yeah, I know...WHAT LIBERAL MEDIA?
