Today's signs that the Apocalypse is upon us

....Surveys: iPhone users pay for digital content, while Mac users are all individuals. Also, Mac users are better lovers, have larger penises, and can hold their liquor better. We also rescue more puppies and donate more to charity. So, there...we're just better, more thoughtful human beings. ;-)

....Dobbs Embarks On His Political Career, Claims He's Reaching Out To Latino Groups To 'Bridge' Differences. Ah, ambition, hubris...and a complete lack of shame...the stuff know-it-all Conservatives are made of. Then again, hypocrisy really is the one truly universal Republican value.

....15 Signs American Society Is Coming Apart at the Seams: #1: teabags aren't just for brewing tea anymore.

....RNC Hires 'Father Of The Modern Attack Ad' To Run Communications Shop. Well, when you know you can't compete holding an honest and open debate about the issues facing this country, character assassination is always a good option.

....Conservative "Purity Test" Too Right Wing for Ronald Reagan. The good news is that the GOP is imploding, and we get to stand back and watch as Republicans continue eating their young.

....Palin fuels presidential rumors: 'I like' the sound of 'President Palin.'. Be afraid. Be very afraid. For there are enough brain-dead teabaggers out there that they just might be able to pull it off.

....Military Divorces Edge Up Again In 9th Year Of War. If we truly cared about our men and women in uniform, wouldn't we be doing more to mitigate this sort of thing?

....Attorney pulls grenade pin in court. This might seem self-evident, but there are probably better ways to make your point than pulling a pin on a grenade and then setting that grenade on the prosecutor's table.

....Hannity Ousts O'Reilly As Top Cable News Telecast. Yes, you know we're a nation of morons when the two biggest demagogues on television have the top two rated "newscasts". When the self-righteous and self-absorbed lead the blind and easily-propagandized, this is what you get.

....I don't know about you, but any story that contains the phrase "rip off his own scrotum" is probably not something you want to be reading if you have a weak stomach.
