Today's signs that the Apocalypse is upon us

....Reverend Fred Phelps: 'God Hates Lady Gaga'. Nah...I think God, if she exists, really hate immoral, intolerant hypocrites like Fred Phelps, who no doubt has a reserved parking space waiting for him in Hell.

....Bolton: Strike On Iran Is No Problem As Long As It's Accompanied By A 'Campaign Of Public Diplomacy'. Because there's no problem that liberal applications of lies and propaganda can't fix- even the fallout from state-sponsored illegal and immoral wars. Remember, for America war is merely foreign policy by other, more violent means.

....Fox News Host Attacks Katie Couric As 'Elite Left Wing Liberal' Over 'Angry Nation' Comment. News is SO much more interesting if you don't have to worry about extraneous crap like, oh, I don't know...objectivity?

....Grandmother Accidentally Feeds Boy A Pot Cookie. Well, that would certainly explain why the kid suddenly developed a rabid interest in the Grateful Dead....

....Palin: I'm Not the Biggest Liar of the Year. Perhaps not, but she's certainly the biggest douchenozzle/demagogue of the year.

....Snuggie Mates With Snowpants, Evolves Legs. Leave it to Japanese creativity to raise the stakes in the couch-potato wars....

....Papa, Let Your Babies Grow Up to Date Hockey Players. Unless they want to grow up and marry Carrie Underwood, that is.

....The Fake Decade. From Glenn Beck to Botox to Paris Hilton, there wasn't an awful lot that felt real about the past decade, was there?

....Time for another WWJD public service to help get you through the long, cold winter: how about a picture of Sienna Miller in a bikini?

....Was Bernie Madoff Assaulted in Prison?. And if so, can I buy the person responsible a beer or six??
