Things I might be thinking....

The 2009 Weblog Awards are off Damn...just when I was beginning to think that I would finally receive my due this year and be recognized for my brilliant body of work...and my astonishing modesty in the face of that brilliance. ;-)

Military expert predicts 300-500 U.S. troops will be killed or wounded each month as Afghan war escalates. Yessirree...if you like the war in Iraq, you're going to LOVE the war in Afghanistan, where not even the Soviet Union could control things.

Bachmann: GOP should 'allow themselves to be re-defined by the tea party movement.' Sure, why shouldn't aligning yourself with foaming-at-the-mouth wingnuts become your path back to power? California Lawyer Refuses To Pay BofA Credit Card, Threatens To Sue. If you think about it, this makes perfect sense. Given how many times the bank has unilaterally changed the terms of credit card agreements, you could reasonably argue that you never agreed to the terms that currently exist.
