Wow...so doing something is actually better than doing nothing?

Which Starbucks-drinking human who likes to drink Starbucks coffee during work breaks is trying to defend the ObamUlus TelLyPoopter WhaleFail package today? Just the CBO, a national corrupt community organizing commune for Gaynesian economists: “The massive stimulus package passed last year to blunt the impact of the worst U.S. recession in 70 years created up to 2.1 million jobs in the last three months of 2009, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office said on Tuesday.” It also lowered the unemployment rate by 2.1% and added 3.5% of economic growth during said quarter. Should the Democrats even bother trying to sell this awful news to deficit-conscious voters?

Wow…so, conclusive proof that the stimulus was a big, fat failure, eh? Too bad that Kenyan-born epic failure of a President couldn’t pull his anterior out of his posterior long enough to realize how much of our tax money he was flushing down the drain.

Uh…wait. What?? You mean to tell me that the stimulus actually worked? That it actually created jobs? My God, what will the Right do for talking points now that one of their biggest Big Lies has been disproven? I mean, they’ve staked so much on trying to convince the American Sheeple that the stimulus was an abject failure, one of the biggest and most spectacular Democratic boondoggles in the history of Mankind. Now that the CBO has shown them to be liars, whatever will they resort next in order to slander Barack Obama? It’s not like they can continue attacking him on his pronounced lack of Whiteness or his long-since-disproven Kenyan birth…right??

After shouting to the rafters that the stimulus had failed, Republicans were somehow able to see their way clear to demand their share of the spoils. Yeah, it may have been a failure in their eyes…but hey, if the guvmint’s handing out money…they were gonna git them some for their districts. Ah, hypocrisy…the one truly reliable, consistent Republican value.
