They like me. They really like me.... ;-)

Every now and again, I’m reminded that people actually do read what I write. Not a lot of people, mind you…but a few folks do manage to find their way to my dark, cobwebby corner of da Interweb. Of course, some of these folks are pushing an agenda…but it’s not like I’m apolitical, right? It’s nice to know that I make an impact, to whatever degree that may be true.

Dear Jack Cluth,

After reading “Yes, Virginia…They are lying, hypocritical sacks of dog excrement”, I thought your readers might be interested in the latest article by Kathy Spillar, Executive Vice President of the Feminist Majority Foundation, in the Huffington Post (below and attached).

In “Bishop’s and Pawn’s” Spillar reports on the extraordinary influence that the U.S. Conference on Catholic Bishops has had on health care reform. She shows they have been crossing the separation of church and state with their lobbying for the inclusion of anti-choice amendments and how their spokespeople in Congress now threaten to block reform.

You are welcome to comment on it or reprint it, all that we ask is that you include a link to the original: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/katherine-spillar/bishops-and-pawnsb4775 05.html.

Thanks for such great articles,
