So you say that you’ve got way too much time on your hands? Can’t get a date to save your life? AND your counting the days until the start of the Canadian Football League season? Have you always been disappointed that there’s never been a CFL fantasy league? Do you know what a rouge is…and do you wish more people did? Well, Cowboy…you are truly beyond help, but there’s at least a wee bit o’ good news. Buckle your chinstrap, Alice, because beginning this season…whenever it starts…you’ll be able to enjoy the solitary, dateless Paradise that is Fantaseh Football. Yes, Canadian Football will be fun again…which implies that it actually was at one time, I suppose. Just don’t ask me when.
Whodathunkit? Up until now, CFL fans actually had only the games to watch for enjoyment. Now they can join their American counterparts in obsessing over minutiae of the game in a way that only the truest of (single, dateless) football fans can appreciate. Lonely Canadian men can while away the hours (and countless cases of Molson) while they review and debate the production of running backs in Saskatchewan that no one has ever heard of or will likely ever hear from again. (Uh, wait…there’s a football team in Saskatchewan? Yeah, right…next you’ll be telling me there are NHL teams in Florida.)
