Ah, another quiet, sedate Juneuary Sunday morning here in Puddletown. Just some Pat Green, a pot of coffee, my Sunday paper…and the steady, rhythmic drumbeat of rain outside my living room window. Yesterday was beautiful- 75 degrees and sunny- and apparently just a cruel joke as the rest of the country eases into summer.
The good news, I suppose, is that my risk of skin cancer has significantly diminished…’cuz that risk, of course, implies the presence of sunshine. Yes, while all y’all are struggling through another sweltering summer day (the high in Phoenix is supposed to be 110), we’ll be lucky to hit 65.
Sunscreen…don’t forget the sunscreen…. ;-)
