OK…so just stop what you’re doing and read those headlines again, willya?? Go ahead, I’ll wait….
I don’t know about you, but I can think of nothing that does a better job of demonstrating beyond a shadow of a doubt that the collective IQ of Republicans is lower than a snake’s belly. Seriously, y’all; if you honestly believe even part of those headlines, PLEASE (and I can’t empasize this enough) be good enough to turn in your voter’s registration card. NOW. You’re clearly too freakin’ stupid to be trusted to vote. No, I’m not worried that you’ll vote differently than I might; I’m worried that you’re just too stupid to vote. Period.
If you can’t be bothered to exist in the real world, where truth (not rumor, innuendo, and whisper campaigns) rules, why should you be trusted to make an informed decision in a voting booth? Voting may be a right, but it’s also a privilege, and if your idea of reality is whatever a talking head on Fox Noise Channel happens to be spouting, you’re abusing your privilege, and it brings into question your right to vote.
At the risk of sounding horribly arrogant and superior, someone needs to speak up when the silliness reaches critical mass…and it has. I don’t mind you voting and/or thinking differently than I do, but would it be too much to expect that you at least make an INFORMED decision to do so? If you can, I have no argument with you. If you can’t be bothered, then please do the right thing and forfeit your voter’s registration card. NOW.
Of course, if you can’t be bothered with reality and the truth, then you’re likely not reading this anyway…so I’m really pissing into a stiff wind, aren’t I?
