I know nothing of Justin Bieber and his music, nor do I really care to. All I really know is that he’s a creepy-looking 16-year-old boy with a bad haircut and WAY too much time on his hands. How else could one reasonably explain how and why a 16-year-old boy could have written a memoir. What could ANYONE possibly have to say at 16 that any sane, reasonable person would want to pay $21.99 to read?
Not to play the elite, effete cultural snob or anything, but I can only rationalize this as continuing evidence of the pervasive dumbing down of America. I mean, how can the idea of Bieber penning a memoir at 16 be anything but patently and undeniably absurd? After all, most 16-year-old boys are still flicking boogers, playing Halo 26 hours a day, and praying for their face to clear up. If you can write a memoir at 16, what are you going to do at 30? Invade the Sudetenland?? Gimme a break….
