Some time ago, I pledged to actively ignore any and all things relating to Sarah Palin. I grew tired of Caribou Barbie and her tired, brain-dead schtick. Anyone can engage in ignorance, name-calling, and the modern-day equivalent of Red-baiting, but it’s not newsworthy or really even worthy of any sort of attention…and so I’ve moved on.
I’m going to break that promise to myself, but only because this is more about my admiration for Alan Grayson as a political commentator. No, he’s not PC…but that’s what make his piece on Caribou Barbie so prescient and so funny. No, Grayson isn’t saying that Palin is stupid…but neither is he saying she isn’t.
