On Sunday, I went to a writing workshop in Wilsonville. One of the the exercises we did was writing six-word memoirs. I wrote a few there, but when I came home…man, THAT’S when I go my creative second wind. So, as a warm up for November’s National Novel Writing Month, I thought I’d strain my brain a bit and share some of the results. I’m an essayist/columnist, and story-telling is going to be a serious stretch for me, but what can go wrong in six words…right??
Snipers, minefields, wine, women, and therapy.

Failed to pick up blitz. Again.
Seven concussions. No Pulitzer Prize. Coincidence?
Waiting for other shoe to drop.

Her boyfriend was a linebacker. Ouch.

Ran away. Got caught. Still running.
