Resolved that: The current administration and Democrat majority in the Senate, in conjunction with Progressive socialists from all around the country, especially those from Hollywood and the left leaning news media (Indeed, most of the news media.) have worked in unison to advance an anti-business, an anti-free market, and an anti-capitalist (anti-individual rights and property ownership) agenda. […] I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped.
Unemployment continues to hover around 9%. Millions of Americans have been unemployed for months (years in far too many cases). You’d think that the most important consideration for any American would be getting our economy back on track. Well, if you’d been thinking that would be a logical way to look at things, you’d be mistaken…because grifter Judson Phillips and his for-profit Tea Party Nation have decided that ridding this country of “Socialism” (and Barack Obama) is Job One. I know; it’s does feel like a face-palm moment looking for a place to happen, doesn’t it?
Tea Party Nation has decided that the most important single thing this country needs to do is to shed our shackles and free ourselves of “our new dictator”. Yes, that’s what Tea Party Nation is calling Barack Obama these days.
A dictatorship? Really? I have to wonder if anyone at Tea Party Nation, especially Judson and Melissa Brookstone, has ANY idea what the definition of “dictatorship” is. Hint: it’s not “any American government with an African-American Democrat in the White House.”
In a disturbing but not-surprising-that-it’s-barely-coherent letter entitled “Call For A Strike of American Small Businesses Against The Movement for Global Socialism,” Brookstone urges American businesses to “not hire a single person” until we rid ourselves of “our new dictator.” What, pray tell, is Brookstone using as evidence to support her claim that Barack Obama is “our new dictator”?
Brookstone cites Democrats’ support of the Occupy Wall Street movement as proof that Obama, media elites, and the like are “against business, private property ownership and capitalism.” Although she fails to explain how a freeze on hiring would send a bold pro-business message, given that such a boycott would further damage the economy and exacerbate high national unemployment.
Not surprisingly , Brookstone doesn’t explain how a complete national hiring freeze would send a bold, unmistakably pro-business message, or how it would do anything but deepen unemployment and further damage the economy. Then again, Tea Party Nation and their brethren allied under various Tea Party banners have shown that they’re more than willing to elevate their narrow agenda over the well-being of 14 million unemployed Americans…or enterprises looking to hire qualified workers in order that they might grow their business.
Resolved that: By their agenda and actions, those in our government who swore oaths to protect and defend our Constitution have committed treason against the United States….
Resolved that: Our President, the Democrats-Socialists, most of the media, and most of those from Hollywood, have now encouraged and supported “Occupy” demonstrations in our streets, which are now being perpetrated across the globe, and which are being populated by various marxists, socialists and even communists, and are protesting against business, private property ownership and capitalism, something I thought I’d never see in my country, in my lifetime.
Evidently, running America into the ground in order to advance their nihilistic, ignorant, fact-free agenda is what the Tea Party is considering “patriotic” these days.
You know, in some parts of the world, Brookstone’s self-absorbed lunacy would get her (not undeservedly) tossed in prison. Here in America, her unmedicated rants are considered free speech, and she’s free to spew her bile in any and all directions.
Some dictatorship, eh?
