I’ve always had a long-standing disdain for awards shows. I find the idea of art-as-competition to be antithetical to what makes art special and unique. Evidenlty, I’m not the only one who feels that awards shows like the Oscars are pointless.

Man, you have to know that the GOP has been infected with Teh Crazy when Republicans can seriously discuss the possibility of Ron Paul playing a major role on the Republican National Committee.

Have you noticed that Social Conservatives always seem to be angry about something? How miserable must those folks be in order to maintain and feed that outrage 24/7/365?

We remain in the midst of a recession with millions still unemployed. So what are Republicans fixated on this election season? If you said social issues, you’re sadly correct…which only makes me wonder what in the Hell is wrong with Republicans these days?

Guess who’s taking the loss of Whitney Houston VERY seriously? No, I wouldn’t have guessed The Waffle House, either.

Republicans: Against It Before They Were for It. Not even Republicans can ignore the reality that the 99% have significantly more of one thing the 1% lack: VOTES.
