Doonesbury: What some newspapers refuse to let you see (3.15.12)

This week, Garry Trudeau’s Doonesbury story line is about the war on women and reproductive health care. Some newspapers, including The Oregonian here in Portland, are declining to run the strips. I’m running them here at WWJD all week because it’s a story that needs and deserves to be told. Enjoy them…but remember that this is not merely an effective attempt at humor. There really are Conservative, middle-aged White men who believe they have the right to define women as sperm receptacles who rightfully are the property of men. And who think they know better than medical professionals how to handle women’s reproductive health care.

Uh…if you don’t have a vagina, shouldn’t you be staying out of things you don’t understand??
