The Romney campaign thinks it can play it safe and coast to the White House by saying the economy stinks and it’s Mr. Obama’s fault. We’re on its email list and the main daily message from the campaign is that “Obama isn’t working.” Thanks, guys, but Americans already know that. What they want to hear from the challenger is some understanding of why the President’s policies aren’t working and how Mr. Romney’s policies will do better.

Romney’s Tax Confusion- The candidate’s response on the ObamaCare mandate reveals larger campaign problems: When a Conservative media stalwart calls you out for your obsequiousness and lack of definable convictions, most reasonable Republicans would take that as a sign that something’s wrong. The Romney campaign seems to be taking the trip to the ideological woodshed as confirmation that they’re on the right course.
It’s true; it really IS tough to hit a moving target. It also takes a truly gifted prevaricator to be able to contradict his own website and not see the irony in it.
Romney: Health-care mandate is a tax: It’s a tax! No, it’s a penalty! No, wait…it’s a tax!! I think….
Hey, I’ve got it; it’s a dessert topping AND a floor wax!!
Romney’s Big Tax Bluff: Why It Will Haunt Him: Evidently, Mitt Romney really does seem to believe that he can lie faster than anyone in the Mainstream Media can fact-check.
If a lie is told at a Romney campaign rally and no one detects it before it becomes a Republican talking point, is it even really a lie?
Romney is clearly a devotee of George Costanza: “It’s not a lie if you believe it’s true!”
Romney Embraced Medicaid Expansion As Governor: That was then…besides, how many of us really want to be held responsible for what we did in the ’90s? Amiright??
Assets offshore raise Romney wealth questions: The rich really ARE different. They’re able to reconfigure questionable financial dealings under their wife’s name the day before being elected Governor.
Obama camp: What’s Romney plan?: Is there one…other than whining about how incompetent Barack Obama is without presenting anything resembling a concrete, definable alternative?
Oh, right; that would mean having to actually take a position on an issue…and we all know how dangerous that can be for a candidate, amiright??
Off And Out With Mitt Romney. Despite all protestations to the contrary, going after Romney’s record at Bain Capital is perfectly legitimate. Past is prologue, right? Never mind the fact that the Romneybots have hit Barack Obama on his past.
As Romney so eloquently (and so patricianly) put it: “What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.”
Auto sales continue to grow. And yet Romney and his surrogates will somehow find a way to spin this news as more evidence that the auto industry bailout was an abject failure and evidence of Barack Obama’s corruption.
I’d hate to know what their definition of “success” is.
Ann Romney: Barack Obama wants to ‘destroy’ Mitt Romney: “Let’s kill this guy.” Really? Is Mrs. Romney’s sense of entitlement so overdeveloped and overheated that she’s forgotten (or refuses to acknowledge) that politics is a contact sport? And perhaps she’s (willfully) lost sight of the lies and propaganda that her husband’s campaign is foisting on the American Sheeple?
Memo to Mrs. Romney: Get over yourself already…and stow the sense of entitlement, willya??
