Mitt Romney 2012: It's not a lie if you never admit the dishonesty

Even mainstream journalists have written about Mitt taking political lying and disdain for the facts to a new art form on campaign issues ranging from his tenure at Bain to blatantly dishonest ads about his opponents, first in the Republican primaries, and now about President Obama. Michael Cohen of the Guardian typified many of these observations with the statement, “Romney is doing something very different and far more pernicious. Quite simply, the United States has never been witness to a presidential candidate, in modern American history, who lies as frequently, as flagrantly and as brazenly as Mitt Romney.” Jonathan Chait, columnist for New York Magazine says Romney is, “Just making stuff up now.”

Romney: Gold Medal in Dishonesty: A fellow Mormon and former Church associate of Romney takes him to task for being what he’s revealed himself to be: a thoroughly dishonest and soulless hypocrite concerned only with advancing himself and his political prospects.

Remember, honesty is for losers and Liberals.

Chronicling Mitt’s Mendacity, Vol. XXVI: This ongoing series demonstrates once again that America will tolerate- perhaps even embrace- a liar…as long as he’s a Republican.

A Mormon President Will Only Make America Dumber: This headline isn’t intended as a statement of prejudice against Mormons. It’s a reflection of the reality that much of Mormon teaching rejects empirical science. America will become even dumber if it is led by a man whose religion rejects science.

Romney video deceptively edits Obama speech to make it sound anti-business: The Big Lie: Repeat a lie often enough and with enough conviction, and it will eventually come to be accepted as the truth. Romney and his surrogates refuse to stick to what’s honest and provably true; that’s WAY too limiting. If they have to make stuff up in order to win in November, that’s what they’ll do.

Remember, winning isn’t everything; IT’S THE ONLY THING. Even at the cost of your soul.

Romney’s encouragement of Obama nuttiness: It’s classic dogwhistle politics: calmly toss out a specious, outrageous, and offensive accusation. Apologize for offending. Sit back while your target audience vibrates furiously with rage as they’re already predisposed to assume the worst of the President. It’s called “appealing to the lowest common denominator.”

Romney ‘Advisor’: Mitt Will Bring a White Man’s Touch: When you get right down to it, Romney’s campaign really IS about racism, and the idea that a Black man in the White House is a travesty and an affront to White America.

Romney’s Five Worst ‘You Didn’t Build That’ Moments: Evidence of Romney’s epic, shameless hypocrisy: he said the same thing in a speech at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Romney Camp Holds 24 ‘We Did Build This’ Events Today: This is what happens when you have nothing of substance to offer America; you’re forced to rely on deceit and dishonesty.

Romney’s New Ad Pioneers a New Low Standard of Dishonest Editing: It’s becoming increasingly clear that it would be easier (and involve less time and effort) to discuss the few occasions when Romney and his campaign have been honest.

Corruption and LDS Cronyism at Romney’s Olympics: Interesting that Romney has frequently engaged in the very same behavior he frequently accuses the President of, eh? Move along, people; nothing to see here! No hypocrisy or double standards here!!
