Today's comminque from our new idiocracy

The Davids created a bit of a firestorm in Grand Haven Township since their display went up at the end of September. The couple suspended the chairs — a play on Clint Eastwood’s Republican National Convention address — by a rope and posted political signs urging people to “Take Back Our Country in November.”…. The Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance in Ottawa County says the lawn chairs are racially insensitive as they are hoisted from a rope, invoking implications of a lynching. The alliance, which urged the Davids to take them down, held a “community conversation” public meeting on Oct. 4 where community members discussed the display and its interpreted implications.

Porn Filmed in Cornell University’s Engineering Library: Cornell’s administration was upset because it’s the closest any Cornell engineer has come to getting laid.

Denver mailman mistakes corpse for Halloween decoration: In the mailman’s defense, the decoration seemed to be VERY lifelike.

Why LIPA failed: Utility ignored warnings it wasn’t ready for major storm: Today on “Third World Hellholes”: Long Island??

Andrew Breitbart Was Set to Release Obama Tapes the Day He Died: While I feel for those who loved him (and I have to assume that someone did), Andrew Breitbart was a miserable excuse for a human being…and the world really is better off without him.

Pat Robertson takes on ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’: Better to be thought a fool than to be Pat Robertson and…oh, never mind….
