Another reason why every day is Gun Appreciation Day

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a 13-year-old Tuscaloosa boy has been killed in a hunting accident.

Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/V9jOia) that Will May was shot Saturday afternoon near the north border of Sumter County. He was an eighth-grader at Rock Quarry Middle School.

Relatives said he was a big Auburn University fan who loved going to the beach, loved being outdoors with his family and especially loved his friends. He was the son of C. Guy May, a Tuscaloosa veterinarian, and Beverly May.

His funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, with visitation at the church beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the “For Fuller Fund” at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
