PLYMOUTH, Minn. — A man is recovering from a gunshot wound after accidentally shooting himself inside a restroom at a Plymouth grocery store late Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Rainbow Foods store at 4190 Vinewood Lane. Police say the man dropped his gun while using the restroom and the firearm discharged, striking him in the lower leg.
The man was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
No one else was in the bathroom at the time of the incident.
