I’ve written at length about the inhuman monstrosity that is NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre. His devotion to guns and the gun industry over human life is no secret. As he continues to openly demonstrate, he has no problem portraying himself as a monster if it serves the interests of gun nuts and the gun industry. If LaPierre had his way, America would become a free-fire zone, a place where everyone- regardless of criminality or mental defect- could obtain any weapon they wanted, regardless of the deleterious effect it could have on innocent lives.
