LANSING — Northeast Iowa authorities are investigating a shooting in which a 27-year-old man injured himself.
The Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened about 4:30 a.m. Sunday at a home near Lansing.
Authorities said Logan Bunn fired a gun at a tree outside the home, but the bullet bounced back and hit him.
Police were notified after Bunn showed up at a La Crosse, Wis., hospital. Bunn is expected to survive.
