Just as you said would happen. Top Down, Bottom UP. The Boston Marathon was a Black Ops “terrorist” attack. One suspect killed, the other one will be too before they even have a chance to speak. Drones and now “terrorist” attacks by our own Government. Sad day, but a “wake up” to all of us. First there was a “suspect” then there wasnt. Infowars broke the story and they knew they had been “found out”.
I should begin by saying we should all be alarmed that an elected representative of the People is guoting information from InfoWars, Alex Jones’ paean to unmedicated madness and his own massive ego. That she’s paying homage to Glenn Beck’s abilities as a sage and a prophet is every bit as frightening. Stella Tremblay is in the grip of some weapons grade stupid, y’all…not that she’s all that concerned about it. I suppose a world-class lack of self-awareness will do that to a person.
I’ve written abouty the Cult of Stupid that’s emerged on the Internet as if from under a rock. Operating under Twitter under the #FreeJahar hashtag, these folks are convinced (despite the complete absence of solid evidence) that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is being framed by the federal government. Tremblay takes the intellectual and moral vacuousness to even more stunning depths by claiming that the Boston Marathon bombing was an inside job.
On the one hand, Tremblay is just another Far Right wingnut who sees nothing wrong with politicizing a terrorist attack. If they can somehow blame it on The Black Guy in the White House ©, so much the better.
Tremblay has previously made headlines for claiming that President Woodrow Wilson was sympathetic to Adolf Hitler’s cause, as well as forwarding a doctored video that claims to show President Barack Obama admitting he was not born in the United States to other New Hampshire House members.
Speaking with the Foster’s Daily Democrat Tuesday, Tremblay confirmed her belief that the Boston Marathon bombing was a government plot, saying: “It was one of my constituents that sent me an email, and it went to a site where a, I think it was a major retired marine was speaking, and then he said, ‘Please go to Infowars,’ and they had pictures of, what is it, black ops? With black backpacks. They show them at the scene, so they knew something was going on.”
So Tremblay has convinced herself that the terrorist attack in Boston was an inside job? It would be interesting to know how she came to hold this belief (other than that’s what the voices in her head tell her). As far as I can tell, her belief (along with those held by Beck and Jones) are based on the feverish imagination of a twisted mind that sees government conspiracies everywhere she turns.
Perhaps someone should remind Tremblay that The X-Files has been off the air for years now?
I WANT TO BELIEVE…. Well, no, I really don’t because it’s people like Tremblay who represent the ascent of our new Idiocracy. Those of us here in the fact- and reality-based world might be willing to consider her claims if she produced something resembling evidence to support them. The problem, of course, is that there IS no evidence. For Tremblay, Glenn Beck and Alex Jones said it, and that settles matters.
You can’t reason with intellectual and moral midgets like Tremblay, because they’re unbowed by the reality that the facts aren’t on their side. There’s no reasoning with the unreasonable. Tremblay’s looniness is immune to facts OR reason; that’s what allows here to insult the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing with such impunity. She believes, therefore it’s true. Truth be damned.
The stupid, it surely runs deep….
