Today, Hell looks a like like Oklahoma

I don’t believe in Hell- at least not the Christian flavor- but if there is a place where pain rules and suffering reigns, it looks a lot like Moore, OK, the latest stop on tragedy’s never-ending world tour. I don’t know what that Hell might look like, but I suspect it might resemble this, this, or even this. Among the ever-increasing death toll (51 as of this morning) are a growing number of children, making a sad and painful situation even more heartbreaking.

If you’re one of those who believe in the power of prayer, this would be a good time to send a few up with the folks in Oklahoma in mind. Better yet, you could do something that will have a more immediate and material impact, like making a donation to the American Red Cross or by texting “Red Cross” to 90999. You can also go here for more information on how you can help.

We should also be thanking whatever Deity/Imaginary Friend we hold dear that we didn’t wake up in central Oklahoma this morning.
