Glenn Beck reacted to today’s news that the Obama administration will delay the implementation of the health care reform law’s employer mandate until 2015, saying that it is all part of a plan to “keep delaying this until the [Democratic] party is out of power.” Once the law is fully put into effect, Beck predicted, the health care system will fall into “total chaos.”
Then Beck put it all together: Obamacare must be a plot connected to Communists and Twelver Shiite Muslims, including maybe President Obama himself: “Oh my gosh, who wants chaos? Our enemies; the Weather Underground types; those who are into the Twelfth Imam— I don’t know if the president, he wasn’t born in Iran, I don’t know if they believe in the twelfth Imam where he was born, Hawaii—but they want chaos too.”
Beck even managed to link the whole thing back to abortion rights protests in Austin, Texas, where one woman said “hail Satan” into a camera.
“Everybody who is on the dark side is rooting for chaos. Who is the author of chaos? Let me go to Austin,” Beck said. “If you don’t know what side you are on right now, if you don’t know who you are actually fighting—I told you before, we are not fighting with the president of the United States, we are not fighting with the Democrats, we are fighting evil.”
