Those who can, do. Those who can't become Senators from Texas.

As HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius is responsible for the disastrous rollout of healthcare.gov, the Navigator fraud scandal, and all of the Administration’s broken Obamacare promises.

I don’t have words in my vocabulary adequate to the task of expressing my disdain for Sen. Empty Suit John Cornyn (R-TX). Having accomplished nothing of value during his time in the Senate, and evidently lacking anything positive to offer, Cornyn has proven adept at kibitzing, criticizing, and tearing down. He appears unable to propose constructive solutions, so he’s chosen to excel at being a back seat driver.

As with most Republicans in Congress, Cornyn accepts as fact the propaganda that the Affordable Care Act is the worst thing to hit America since the Triangle Shirtwaist fire. And, as with most Republicans, Cornyn makes no effort to provide specifics to explain why ACA is such a terrible, horrible, very bad idea, just that it is and any REAL American would recognize that truth.

There’s no disputing that the rollout of Healthcare.gov has been…well, let’s call it what it is- a cluster&%$#. Given the glee Republicans have taken in ridiculing the site, ACA, and President Obama, you could be forgiven for thinking that Republicans had committed sabotage and were sitting back and enjoying their handiwork. The sad truth is that the President and Congressional Democrats couldn’t see their way clear to stand up and fight for the creation of the only system with a realistic change of success- a single-payer system. Of course, single-payer would mean that the health insurance industry- a major Republican contributor- would have taken a major hit, and you know Republicans aren’t about to allow the hand that feeds them to be bitten. Cornyn, like most Republicans, really only cares about the American Sheeple insofar as they need their votes come Election Day. When he doesn’t need their votes, Cornyn can focus on maintaining the status quo, thus benefiting the health insurance industry and screwing over the American Sheeple.

Perhaps if Sen. Cornyn had something constructive to offer I might be willing to take him seriously. (News Flash: “a 25% off Amazon coupon for Atlas Shrugged and a link to WebMD” is still far more than anything the GOP has yet to propose as an alternative.) Unfortunately, all he has are self-righteous condemnation of ACA and the President, and lying to the American Sheeple about ACA. It’s pathetic, but that’s typical of Sen. Empty Suit’s Cornyn’s tenure in the Senate.

Oh, and from the “Move Along, People; No Hypocrisy Here” Department is this beauty: many of those same Republicans excoriating the President and Sec. Sebelius were the same ones asking the nation for patience after the disastrous rollout of Medicare Part D in 2006. Of course, it was OK then, because the President was a White Conservative Republican and the GOP ruled the Earth.

We deserve better than empty suits in Congress. Texas seems perfectly happy with them, which is probably a good argument for why Texas should just go ahead and secede. Now. As soon as the Lone Star State declares its independence, America’s collective political IQ will jump 15 points.
