I spend a lot of time decrying the ignorance, selfishness, self-righteousness, and intolerant of the Far Right. Sometimes I feel as if I’ve long since become a one-trick pony. This being Christmas, I’ve decided it would be good to change things up a bit. I want to do something more positive and uplifting than the usual Sturm und Drang of politics. It’s time for me to see if I can do something different, even if only for a little while.
Tune into this space tomorrow for something different. Instead of telling you what and who I find ignorant and objectionable, I’ll share with you the kind of world I wish for. I may not believe in God, but if the reason for the season can be considered to be things like peace, love, joy, and happiness, then I’m on board.
