What have we come to when a mass shooting garners less attention and outrage than a woman showing too much skin in a public forum? When showing a topless female generates more moral outrage than yet another school shooting? Why is it that violent gun deaths are considered to be the cost of freedumb freedom, but anything vaguely sexual in nature is held to have the potential for corrupting our children?
How is it that school shootings don’t generate nearly the attention and outrage that Scout Willis received for walking naked through Manhattan in protest of…well, whatever it was she was all fired up over? Why would the gun nuts and ammosexuals worry about something that doesn’t impact them directly. It’s a sad thing, but as long as it’s someone else’s kid, what’s the problem?
