An easy way to determine if you're being persecuted this holiday season

It’s almost that time of the year: snow is about to fall, toys are about to go on sale, and the culture wars are about to heat up. That’s right. It’s beginning to look a lot like — persecution season. The Farmer’s Almanac is predicting this year’s War on Christmas to be one of the nastiest on record, what with Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas scheduled to open in church cafeterias everywhere next week.

Every year ‘round about this time, the Conservative outrage generator cranks itself into high gear over the “War on Christmas.” While humorous by dint of its absurdity, it can also be extremely annoying given the number of Conservative talking heads who take it seriously and flog the “War on Christmas” as if it was an actual thing.

This year I’ve come across a handy flowchart that will walk you through a simple method for determining if you’re being persecuted. The short version is that if no one threatened your life, safety, civil liberties, or right to worship…yeah, you’re not being persecuted. Get over yourself, already.

Happy Holidays.
