I’m going to be very busy and rather distracted over the next few days (something about getting married), so my attentions will understandably be directed elsewhere. If I can carve out some time to write, I will. Suffice it to say that this isn’t exactly going to be a priority for the next few days.
As I’m writing this, my parents, my brother, and my sister-in-law are on a flight from Minneapolis. Mom hasn’t been on a plane since 1994, and it’s been close to that for Dad. My entire family will be together in one place for only the second time in something like 25 years, the first being last October. We have 300 confirmed guests…but the weather forecast looks good, and I’ll get to play a few songs with the band…oh, and I get to marry Erin; not a bad deal, eh?
I was kinda hoping the Westboro Baptist Church would be picketing at the wedding, but they apparently have more important causes to disrupt.
Anyway…long story short, the usual silliness found here may be at low ebb for a few days. Try not to miss me too much.
