Sometimes, when I’m feeling as if my grip on reality and sanity may be slipping, I look around me and realize all over again that there are those for whom reality and sanity aren’t standard equipment. These folks are very likely either running for the Republican Presidential nomination or standing in a pulpit on Sunday morning preaching what their hatred and prejudice tell them is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord…for He is a mean-spirited, spiteful S.O.B. who lives to smite those who dare violate His Holy Book, conveniently translated for us by self-interested hypocrites who’d never dream of living by the rules they demand others adhere to. God is great, no??
