One year ends; another’s about to begin. Once again, we get our annual lesson in the circularity of time. As happens every year, we bemoan what could only be described as a truly awful, sucky year…except that we’re still drawing breath, so how bad is it really? This year seemed to have more than its fair share of ugliness- Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Charlie Hebdo, Paris, San Bernardino…and the list goes on. Of course, that can be said of most any year.
Rather than putting on a smiley face and pretending that 2015 was all we’d hoped for, I thought I’d just share a few things that together tell a tale of 2015 and just how little we’ll miss it.
