This truly is an historic election. One political party has achieved nominating the first woman for President in the history of a major political party. The other political party has achieved nominating the first full-blown lunatic.
It’s quite the choice facing Americans. On one side is Hillary Clinton, the first female nominee of any major political party. Many believe her to be Satan with a vagina, a politician so craven, so power-mad and ruthless that she let four brave Americans die in BENGHAZI!!! in order that she wouldn’t be exposed as a lesbian.
Her opponent is an egomaniacal bully and narcissist who touts himself as a self-made business genius…even though he has a long track of bankruptcies, failure to pay his bills, and is dispositionally incapable of telling the truth. Politifact has determined that Donald Trump is lying 76% of the time. You read that correctly; three out of every four times Trump opens his pie hole, a lie issues forth. Listening to him, I’m frankly surprised it was only 76%…though, if memory serves, another Politifact evaluation put the number at 91%. Whichever number is closer to the truth is difficult to know, but what isn’t so hard to comprehend is that Trump will say ANYTHING he believes will get him closer to his goal. In his world, the means justifies the end, and truth is something only losers and Liberals concern themselves with.
Republicans in Congress are now treating Trump as if he’s toxic…which isn’t at all far from the truth. He’s an embarrassment to the GOP (and to America)…and he’s the presumptive GOP nominee. Greetings for our new idiocracy, eh?
And it’s only mid-June!! I shudder to think what the next four-plus months will reveal about a man fit to be President in the same way Sarah Palin is a Rhodes Scholar.
