...it means that hockey season is just around the corner!! Having grown up in northern Minnesota, where hockey, snowmobiling, and ice fishing are Winter's primary diversions, it was impressed upon me at an early age that there are only two seasons: Summer and Hockey season. Anything else is just a diversion to keep you from doing household chores.
Now comes the news that the AHL's Houston Aeros, the minor league affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild, will be playing one of their home games at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul, MN, home of the Wild.
Game on, eh??
