Sanchez blasts Perry for ad linking Democrat to murder
Ten days until Election Day, and I for one am sick to death of the Texas governor's race. If you believe the negative advertising, Tony Sanchez is a drug-running, money laundering reprobate, and Rick Perry is the lapdog of Big Business, a crass politician with no morals or convictions save the furtherance of his own political career. All of these things may be true, but how does it contribute to making an informed decision on Election Day??
Call me naive, but it sure would be nice to hear a good, old-fashioned discussion of the issues. Of course, it IS more fun to be able to cast your opponent as the Spawn of Satan, no??
Ten more days...I wish someone would just put us out of our misery now....
