It's good to be King

I'd like to thank all of you for your kind words and thoughts yesterday. It was indeed a very Good Friday. I got $150 towards the $400 or so it will cost me to have TPRS redesigned, a golf shirt, and a cake from my suprervisor at work. The nicest part of the day was going to a park a couple of miles from home with Susan and Eric just to sit and watch the ocean.

Although golf was originally restricted to wealthy, overweight Protestants, today it's open to anybody who owns hideous clothing.

All in all, it really was a very good day. Tomorrow is Adam's 20th birthday, and I'm taking him to play golf for the first time. As much as I have enjoyed the birthday presents I received, I think playing golf with Adam will be the nicest one of all. He's been yapping at me all week about how he is going to kick my ass. I'll be interested to see if that will subside once he dribbles his drive down the middle of the 1st fairway. Knowing Adam, I doubt it will slow him down a whit. It should be fun.
