Presidential prevarications?

The strategically ambiguous George W. Bush (link purloined from Thudfactor)

Kerry says Bush misled Americans on war

He misled every one of us. That's one reason why I'm running to be president of the United States. I will not let him off the hook throughout this campaign with respect to America's credibility and credibility to me because if he lied he lied to me personally.

- Sen. John Kerry (D-MA)

No, I'm not going to sit here and say Shrub lies. That would be too overt. What I will say is that Our Sainted President is hardly above using the truth (orwhatever version of it best serves his ends) to push a particular agenda. The shock in this is not that he is a prevaricating politician, but that he portrays himself as being above the fray. This President, who wears his faith and his virtue on his sleeve, is as dishonest, manipulative, and two-faced as any other politician. Gee, what a shock....
