Damn gremlins....

Help!! I keep getting a strange error message, and I cannot figure out what is happening. The wierd thing is that it is happening to both computers in our house. We both use EarthLink's dialup service, and until now I've not experienced any problems. If anyone can help me figure out what is happening, I'd be forever in your debt!!

This system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiate by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.

Message: Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly.

I can stay logged on for a minute or two, and then this dialogue box pops, warning me that I have 1:00 before Windows will automatically reboot. Anyone out there have any ideas??

UPDATE: I'm able to use my old desktop, but it appears that my laptop may be hosed. It seems both of the other computers have been infected by a worm. What would possess some f*****g troll to wreak such havoc on people- outside of the fact that they can?
