It's ain't always easy finding people to beat up on

Tennessee fans are expressing gratitude this morning to the Fresno State University football team, who stepped in as the deisgnated home-opener patsy. Bosnia's national champions, the University of Tusla Minesweepers, were unable to cross Serbian lines and get to the Sarajevo Airport to catch their flight to Knoxville, so Coach Pat Hill's Bulldogs graciously agreed to step up to the chopping block. Opined Coach Hill:

I know it's tough when you're expecting a patsy to take a fall for your home opener. Your fans are expecting to put up about 80 points, and then everything goes to Hell. This way, we can help UT out, we get a huge payday, and then we'll go home and lick our wounds.

UT Coach Fullmer expects no repeat of this week's events when the Division IV Northeast Utica Barber & Flower Arranging College Fighting Clippers come to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. The early line lists the Vols as a 137 1/2 point favorite.
