Endocodone, M-oxy, OxyContin, OxyFAST, OxyIR, Roxicodone, Supeudol

Controlled Substance Schedule II

Action: Inhibits pain pathways in CNS, increases pain threshold, alters pain perception

Uses: Moderate to severe pain

Side effects/adverse reactions
CNS: Drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, headache, sedation, euphoria
GU: Increased urinary output, dysuria, urinary retention
INTEG: Rash, urticaria, bruising, flushing, diaphoresis, pruritis
RESP:Respiratory depression

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, addiction (opiate)
