What do the prophet Jeremiah, Bob Martinez and the ACLU have in common? They all stated very unpopular opinions and/or took unpopular steps that, in retrospect, have turned out to be the right thing to do. Sometimes, doing the right thing may not win you universal acclaim. That doesn't mean you're not doing the right thing.
